Uniforms and equipment

ESC has chosen a uniform-model that shows how the ski-soldier may have appeared during the campaign of 1808-1809. The uniforms were made with a looser fit to allow the necessary mobility for skiing. The officers uniform differed form other officers by not having tail on the coats. The greatest difference between soldiers and officers uniforms were quality, with soldier’s uniforms being made of a more coarse fabric, and rougher sewing. The different items will be closer described on the pages below.
