The recreation of the tunic of Elverumske company was based on an original jacket in the collection of "De Sandvigske samlinger" Maihaugen) at Lillehammer. This jacket was copied as accurate as possible, though some difficulties were encountered, as modern fabrics and tailoring are quite different than 200 years ago.
