Buckled Shoes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Each trooper had two pair of buckled shoes, but only one pair of buckles. The shoes were made straight-lasted which means that there were no difference between left and right. The troopers were supposed to change left and right shoe each day to avoid uneven wear and tear.
