Elverumske Skieløber Compagnie (The Elverum Company of Skiborn Troops) consists of a small group of people who wish to re-create the daily life and conditions of the Danish-Norwegian light infantry in one of the most dramatic periods of Norwegian history - the wars of 1807-1814. This naturally includes a presentation of the military drills and tactical dispositions of that period of history. The equipment and uniforms are accurate reconstructions, based on written historical sources, original sketches, and authentic items found in museums and private collections.
